Catch Jonathan
Jonathan at Events
From game days to story time, here’s where you’ll find UConn’s favorite Husky, and how to invite him to yours.
Meeting Jonathan
Follow his handlers’ lead
You are always welcome to ask to say hi! The handlers know what Jonathan needs, from a quick break to a new friend to greet.
No treats, please
Please don’t offer Jonathan food or treats. Only his handlers feed him.
Snap away!
Bring your own phone or camera. Handlers are busy looking after Jonathan, so they can’t take photos for you.
Before you request
✓Submit your request at least two weeks before your event.
✓Confirm with your venue that live animals are allowed.
✓Have your details ready: date, time, location and parking, what you’d like Jonathan to do, how many people will be there and their ages, and whether there will be loud noises, food, or other animals.
✓To keep Jonathan healthy and happy, he attends a limited number of events each week, so we can’t accept every request.
✓We say yes to events that reflect the values of Alpha Phi Omega, UConn, and the ASPCA.
